Wonderful verse today in my life! This is but a season for Ken and I and it too shall pass. And we still praise the Lord, because He loves us and is the God of our salvation. Because in this season we will grow and He's already shown us some of His purpose in it. Because He and He alone is faithful. Because He will never leave us, nor forsake us. Because through this pain, there is victory in Him. Because He is the Beginning and the End, and what's in the middle is but a vapor in the Big Picture. Because He loves us in spite of ourselves. Because of His grace that we in no way deserved.
We will not dwell on the present, for He has plans for our future. Therefore, we'll look ahead with prayer and praise Him for what is to come.
We will not dwell on the past, it was all in His plan. We rejoice in it and praise Him for what He has brought us out of.
I praise You Lord, for You and You alone are worthy! I rejoice in Who You are, our Jehovah Jireh! We are in Your Hands, and that is where our Joy is!
3:17 Though the fig tree do not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, 3:18 yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
Wow, I've been on MyChurch for almost 6 months! I originally came on this site searching for a family member, and what did God do??? He gave me a WHOLE family, from all over the world!!!!! I've truly been blessed, by a gracious and loving God, to be part of this family. And I want to thank those of you who have truly become brothers and sisters in Christ to me and Ken. Thank you to those of you who have continually lifted us up in prayer. Thank you to those of you who have taken the time to know us..really know us and know our hearts. We, both, strive to love people as God has loved us. God has blessed us so much with a love that some people don't understand, and we want to share that love. Through phone calls, meeting each other, mail, and im's...I'v gotten to know so many of you beyond these pages, beyond blogs...and I'm blessed, truly blessed by your hearts. It doesn't seem like 6 months...with some here, it seems like it's always been. Think how great it's going to be in Heaven!!!!!! So, MyChurch, I thank God for this 6 months! Even the smallest light can make a difference in the darkest night. Keep giving encouragement and lifting each other up. Deuteronomy 3:28 But charge Joshua and encourage him and strengthen him; for he shall go across at the head of this people, and he shall give them as an inheritance the land which you will see.
Ed is in trouble. He forgot his wedding anniversary and his wife was really angry. She told him, 'Tomorrow morning I expect to find a gift in the driveway that goes from 0 to 200 in less then 6 Seconds AND IT BETTER BE THERE!!'
The next morning Ed got up early and left for work. When his wife woke up she looked out the window and sure enough there was a box gift-wrapped in the middle of the driveway. Confused, the wife put on her robe and ran out to the driveway, and brought the box back in the house. She opened it and found a brand new Bathroom Scale.
Ed has been missing since Friday. Please pray for him.
