About Me

I am a princess of the King! I am proud to be a wife and mom and love spending time with my family. My husband, Jon, is an amazing man and I fall deeper in love with him every day. Our oldest son, Tim, melts my heart, especially when I see him blessing people (especially his brother!) He is an honors engineering major at Virginia Tech; I couldn't be more proud of him! Our youngest son, Richard, is an incredibly smart, young teenager who makes my heart race when he smiles at me! He loves to make people laugh and we spend an incredible amount of time together having fun. We live with our two silly furbabies...a Golden Retriever named Cody, and a Black Lab named Katie.

We are committed to an incredible church family at Real Life Community Church, a small, but rapidly growing church family (www.reallifenow.org). We also enjoy living in the country doing outdoor activities; enjoying the simple things in life. Personally, I love warm oatmeal in the fall and long trails with unknown destinations; the feel of crisp, cool autumn air makes me feel alive. I love feeling like I have made someone feel special and I am generally my happiest when I am able to bless someone. I love Jesus with my whole heart and seek to know Him more every day. I love ministering to young people and see their hearts turn to God; I love to watch people burn up for the things of God. But, most importantly, I love the simplicity of the Cross...

Interests

I love camping, reading, racing, cooking, animals, photography, design, snow activites, music, just about anything if it's done with someone special to me.

My favorite movies are "Fireproof", "The Ultimate Gift", "Facing the Giants" and "The Notebook"

Music

Books

I am an avid reader with a love of many genre...however...I am currently totally engrossed in anything by Drs. Cloud and Townsend...and of course, the Bible!

Television

When I get to watch, I like shows like Bones, CSI, Law & Order, Discovery/A&E/History, Food Network channels and TV movies on Lifetime...comedies are great too! Two of my favorite shows are "The Starter Wife" and "Army Wives".
