Here are three more Army websites that are definitely worth checking out.
http://www1.salvationarmy.org.uk/alove Alove's website says this about itself: ALOVE is a new sub-brand of The Salvation Army for young people and young adults in the UK and Republic of Ireland. It expresses the heart and passion of The Salvation Army for a new generation and it's the identity of The Salvation Army's new vision and strategy for youth ministry, which was launched in January 2003. This is a site that may not have direct implications to us considering it is specifically the youth site in another territory and much of the content reflects this. But there are still a number of good and useful things on the site that can be related to us, specifically a lot of quality stuff under the ENGAGE section. Checking out this site is useful for us also in that it provides a broader perspective of the life and vitality of Salvation Army youth and young adults in another territory and continent. It also allows us to see how the Army there is adapting even on a territorial level to the ever changing youth culture that they (and us I might add) find themselves in.
http://www.therubicon.org/ I'll let the theRubicon do it's own advertising on this one: "theRubicon is an independent, volunteer-driven online magazine. We are Christians with our roots in The Salvation Army. We are doers who have learned that we need to think deeply, rigorously and critically about what we do, why we do it and why there are things we don’t do. 'Contemplative activists', is one way of putting it, or 'field theologians'....theRubicon is based on exchange and participation – thoughtful, well-written contributions from people well-known and from those on the fringes of obscurity and audio presentations that challenge and inspire. Debate and discussion is welcomed and hoped for." With that in mind let me say that the content on this site can be at times a bit heavier than the other sites. So if you are one who likes to dig a little deeper and dialogue with others on issues then this might be a great resource for you. Don't let that scare the rest of you away though, I'm sure there is something of interest to you as well.
http://www.justsalvos.com/ If you are a Salvationist that cares about justice then you need to check out this site. It comes from the Australia Southern Territory so some things are tailored to Australia but most of what you will find is good for the whole body of Salvationist's. Articles and information on different areas of justice are found in the Issues section and current event issues of justice are found in the News and Blog section. There are different ways in which they are taking action with the issue of Justice and these can be seen in the Campaigns section. One cool campaign is JustGifts where you can purchase as a gift either for yourself or someone else, various necessity type practical items for those in third world countries around the world where the Army is at work and in need of these items.

I'm not sure if you are aware but The Salvation Army has some pretty good resources available at your finger tips online. Hopefully you are aware of the Southern Territory's web site and especially the territorial youth website www.youthdownsouth.org. There are good and important things on there pertaining to us the youth of the Southern Territory. But there are also a number of really good websites from the Army world beyond our territory that you can access with a mere click on the links below. Many of these can and will be of great benefit to you if you check them out.
www.armybarmy.com is a site that has a lot of good resources available. You can listen to Army preaching, Army worship, read and download Army e-books, buy Salvation Army materials in their e-store, and find a number of other thought provoking material. Along with the website there is a daily blog www.armybarmy.com/blog.html with constant info, news, articles, and thoughts about the Army world.
www.armyrenewal.com is a site based in England that has a pretty self explanatory name. It is about primitive salvationism, a term used to understand and apply what it meant to be a Salvationist during the founding and early years of The Salvation Army. There are articles and writngs under three section headings: Charasmatic Flavoured, Mission Focued, and Heroism. Like armybrmy there is also a blog along with this site.
www.primitivesalvationist.com is about "rediscovering the purpose of the Movement". This is a site similar in purpose and content to the one above, hence the name, though it offers articles written by a wider range of Salvationists. It has some really good stuff you should check out. Some things about our history you might not have known or realized. I'll try to have three more sites listed for you in my next post. For now take a look at these. Believe me you could fill up a whole day and thensome exploring and reading the good Army stuff found on these sites. I hope what you find will fuel your passion and cause an even greater hunger within you.

We want to hear reports and testimonies from your rallies so when you get home and get back on mycorps make sure to come here and blog about it and let the division know the awesome things that took place at your rally.
Guys don't worry your time will come.
