About Me

Hi! My name is Karrie and I'm married to Jamie (5 years) and we have one munchkin (Samuel- 4 years). We recently moved to the SW and I am loving it. We're thisclose to the hubby's work and there is a great school really close to our house. So that's great. I have a dog (Knight) and my husband has a dog who thinks she's a human (Isabel). I've been going to VBF off and on since 2001 (came for the Single's ministry, stayed for the worship!). I was really lucky and got saved when I was 14 at the KC Fair (God broke a fair ride just to get my attention!) and began attending a Southern Baptist church. I feel so lucky that He called me out of the mire. He has protected me and comforted me when I literaly had no one to turn to. Sorry. Gets me a little verklempt thinking about what me and the Big Guy have been through. Okay. I started coming to VBF for Sunday services after teaching Sunday school at Valley Baptist because my mom started coming (yeah!). Met my guitar-playing hubby and told him that he had to check out this rockin' church. He did, he liked, he stayed. We go on Sundays and I go to Mops, but we need to get more involved and get to know more of the bretheren. Hopefully this will help!

Movies

I love CLASSIC movies. My favorite movie of all time is White Christmas, no matter what time of year it is!

Music

Once again, the classics never go out of style! The Beatles will always be the greatest band EVER. They just are. I also enjoy my crooners (Bing Crosby makes me swoon, and Harry Connick Jr.'s voice just makes me melt in my shoes). But there is still nothing better than some good old, southern rock (DMB, CCR, Third Day)
