5:17 Therefore if any man [be that gives] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Some people interpret the portion of the bible that says"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one" (rom 3:10), to mean all men are not righteous. Jesus came into this world to make a righteous creation out of the unrighteous man. He died once, so that every man who was unrighteous could believe in him and become righteous. In other words, the statement,"no one is righteous" is of the past, it doesn't apply anymore in the new testament. Some people will boldly say, "i am a sinner" without realising that the death and resurrection of Jesus has freed them from the bondage of sin. If you are born again, you are no longer a sinner but a saint. In his epistle to the philippians, the apostle paul addressed the saints in philippi, "to all the saints of Christ Jesus which are at philippi... 'meaning the death of Jesus Christ has not only made us free from sin, but has made us saints as well! It has brought us into a new life of righteousness. Righteousness is the nature of God that gives a man the atbility to stand in the presence of God without any sense of guilt, inferiority or condemnation. It gives a man right standing with God, and the ability to do right. This is the nature you have as a believer in Christ. Consequently, your life ought to reflect the righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. Before his death on the cross, Jesus declared that it was finished. In essence he meant that troubles and toiling were finished upon this earth. The fruitless journey of seeking to be righteous by your own good works has ended. With the gift of righteousness bequeathed to us through his death, an intimate relationship with God is guaranteed. We're no longer ruled by the law. Now that you are born again, you're free from the law and its consequences, and have come into a new life of righteousness. |

After i posted the blog,"faith is not the denial of the facts", the devil wanted to try me by bringing sickness my way. Thank God i am not ignorant of his wiles. I started using he word of God to override the symptoms of sickness. I said "no way, not with this pregnancy. i will not even go to hospital bc i pay my tithe to God and not to the hospital". I used the word of God to crush every illegal transactions of my body and i started giving God praise bc the confidence i have is that he hears and answers. The holy spirit reminded me of a dear sister who had been looking unto God for a baby for years . She became pregnant, one day as she was driving, she started bleeding. The ordinary mind would have rushed to hospital. Do you know what she did? She parked her car, entered a bus and started preaching the word of God. She gave them her testimony in advance. She said the hand of God is on her baby and that she's not going to cast her young. She was not moved by what she saw bc it was subject to change. And it came to pass. Today, she has two beautiful children. When i wrote that blog, i didn't know i was thanking God for my Healing in advance bc it was those words that kept me strong. And we overcame them by the blood of the lamb and by the word of our testimony.

4:19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb: 4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; Some people believe that to have faith is to deny the negative situation they are experiencing. To them, faith means if they felt symptoms of fever for example, tthey should say,"i don't have fever". That's not faith. Faith is not the denial of the facts, but it is denying those facts the ability or authority to control the circumstances of your existence. faith means even though you "feel" the fever, you refuse to allow it knock you down; you say, "i was healed two thousand years ago and still healed now. Fever, get out of my body in the name of Jesus!" Can you see the difference? one man is denying the facts, but the other is overriding the facts with the word of God! When David confronted Goliath, he didn't deny that he was facing a giant. He didn't say, "theres's no giant threatening Israel", if he had done that, Goliath would have whipped him. He saw the giant, but whereas everybody else focused on the size of the giant, David only gave consideration to the truth that he was in covenant with Jehova 17:45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. He prevailed over the giant bc he overrode the fact with the greater truth of God's word. I remeber a beautiful testimony from one of our pastors. She had gone for a certain job interview and when se got there, she was told that the interview was over and the candidates needed for the job had already been shortlisted. Actually, she hadn't even been invited for the interview! But before she went, she had been praying and had received a rhema-word to go there. stunned at her boldness, the panelists invited her in for an interview and she got the job! That's faith. She didn't get there saying,"i confess that the interview isn't over in Jesus name" She overrode the fact with the rhema-word she had received. So, quit thinking faith is all about denying facts or pretending to have what you don't actually have. Faith is calling real what God has said about you and therefore acting that way. PRAYER Dear father, thank you for teaching me today about faith. I can see now that to have faith is not to deny the facts, but to override those facts with your word! I declare that my faith is alive and producing results a s a result of what i have learnt today in the name of Jesus, amen.

Glorious things has been spoken of you in this year 2009. You are going to enjoy the sevenfold increase. I. INCREASE OF GRACE : Grace for you is going to be multiplied.Grace is that glory of God that works in you causing you to achieve what ordinary men can't. It will be evident for all to see. Grace will open doors for you. 2.INCREASE IN ABILITY: You will experience tremendous increase in your ability to perform.You will find yourself doing things you never knew you could do. In 2009, God wants to show the difference between his people and people of the world. 3.INCREASE IN KNOWLEDGE: You will increase in your knowledge of the word of God, technology, in everything by the power of the Holy ghost. Put writing materials close to you when you sleep bc you could wake up with revelations. God has chosen you to be the solution provider. 4.INCREASE IN FORTUNES: You will increase in financial and material wealth, not just to make you happy but so that you can help others.You will become a blessing to others. 5. INCREASE IN WISDOM:You increase in phronesis, in the highest stage of wisdom. Wisdom beyond reasoning. It pilots you to know where you should go and say what you should say. 6. INCREASE IN SPEED: Supernatural speed has been given to you. Not only that, but direction. Angels has been dispatched to help you. The holy spirit will energize you. You will solve in minutes what should have taken you several hours to figure out. 7. INCREASE IN ACCURACY: You have supernatural increase in accuracy. You will do something once and get it right. You will always meet the right people, at the right time, in the right place to favour you. Just believe, take a hold of these words of prophecy. Step into it and see yourself riding on the wings of the holy spirit this 2009. God bless you
