I am a born again christian, a child of the King. I have been blessed with 3 children who all live in Greenville. I have many grandchildren and many many great grandchildren. I love my family and I thank God daily for them. I joined TCC in 1997 and have been an active member since that time. I love my church and all my brothers & sisters in Christ but most of all I love Jesus. I feel in my heart that I am where God wants me to be. He just keeps blessing me where I am.
I enjoy my work for the Lord at my church and I am so blessed that Pastor Sam & Debbie give me the freedom to go ahead with the different ministries I have in the church. I keep pretty busy with the things of God and that's what keeps me out of trouble. God is so good to me.
| | Interests In general, I would just like to say that I want to be a shining light for Jesus. I want to be His Hands Extended!!! Nobody knows but me, where He brought me from. He had to reach down real low to pull me out of the mirey clay, and I'm so glad He did. I will forever Praise & Exalt His Name on High, the Name of Jesus. He deserves my very best. | | Movies My favorite movie is "The Passion of the Christ". Our church went to the movie theater as a group to see this movie when it first hit the box office. The memories of that trip to Richmond "on the church bus that Mary Ann Emrick was driving" will forever stand out in my mind. We just had an all around good time in the Lord. I would advise every christian to see this movie because it gives us an idea of what Jesus went through, in order that we might have eternal life with Him in Heaven. My, my, what a Savior!!! | | Music Tommy Renfro, Jimmy Dooley, Joe Smith and Jimmy Swaggert are 4 of my favorite solo country gospel singers. I enjoy listening to "The Gaithers", "The Thompsons", "Denny & Marie Riddell", "His Song", "Stateline Quartet", "Acclaim Quartet", "Trinity", "The Woodsmen Quartet", and many others.
| | Books My most favorite #1 book is the Bible!!! I'm not much of a reader of secular books, for I'm doing good if I read the Bible. I guess I never was much of a reader period. | | Television Sometimes I watch too much television! I have purchased almost all of the Gaither Video's and I watch them periodically. I enjoy John Hagee, Charles Stanley, Joel Osteen, Jimmy Swaggert and many other good christian Pastors on TBN. I also enjoy watching CSI, Cold Case Files, Law & Order, Murder She Wrote, Matlock, Perry Mason and a good mystery movie from time to time. |
