I was born and raised in Granite Falls, Minnesota. I have 2 sisters and one brother. I lived in Granite Falls until the age of 18 when I moved out to attend college. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in International Business Management in May of 2007 with my minor in the French language from Southwest Minnesota State University. I spent 5 years working for the Schwan Food Company and mosty recently have worked as a Senior Motivational Coach.
I was born-again at the age of 23. After my decision to serve Jesus Christ my focus changed from, "What can I do for me?" to "What can I do for God?" Due to this, following my college graduation the Lord put it on my hear to get bible training so I could be more impactful for His Kingdom.
I was at work one day when the typical post-graduation question was posed to me for the hundreth time by a young lady, "So what's next for you Lindsay now that you've graduated?" I came back with my usual answer, "I'm looking into bible colleges." The 20 year old calmly said to me, "You should check out Rhema it's a pretty good school." I didn't think much of it but later as I was online researching bible colleges and her words popped back into my head so I decided to check out the school. I studied their beliefs to make sure they were in-line with the Word of God. Once I discovered they were I ordered their informational DVD.
The day I got it in the mail I put it into my laptop. As soon as the Kenneth Hagin Jr., the director of the school, began talking, the power of God came over me and I knew I was suppose to apply to the school. I also knew I would get accepted and be going for sure so I began to make mental preparations for my departure from Minnesota.
About one month later my acceptance letter came in the mail, and another month after that I was on my wat to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to pursue what God had in store for me.
I have now been living in Oklahoma since October of 2007 and am loving it! God is doing a mighty work in my life and He is the author and the finisher and I always excited to find out what's next.
