Living Lord is a part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) which is divided into various subdivisions called Synods The church is located at the eastern end of the Central States Synod and partnered with the churches on the east side of the Mississippi River in the Metropolitan St Louis Coalition of the Evngelical Church in America (Metro Coalition).
