My name is Lorena and I am a mother of five and step mother of 3 children ranging in the ages of 18 to 7. God has also given me the privilege of being a grandmother to my Beautiful 11 month old Granddaughter. I started my real walk with God in the Summer of 2006 after finally realizing as I laid in my room hung over watching my 5 year old daughter make her self a sandwich that there had to be something better out there. I grew up in the church surrounded by God, but decided to live my life my way. I decided after several invitations from family members that attended ACA that i was going to church that morning. Let me tell you that I felt the presence of God walking in that door.... My life was changed forever. I was touched in a mighty way.... The void that I felt in my life was filled beyond compare ...After praying and consistently still coming to church no matter what i faced at home or work; my husband decided to come and he was impacted and also rededicated his life. We now see God working thru us and thru our children and thru our Family. Its awesome to see some of my children serve the Lord ...its awesome to be used by God to spread his love. It Awesome to serve the lord side by side with my husband. It is awesome to serve the lord in the children's ministries at ACA. I Love the Lord and nothing can compare to the Love he has for each and every one of us......God Bless |
