HI! My name is Lori Belcher. I have been married to Danny for 25 years and we have three daughters. Courteney is 19 and she works with the tech team at Livingway. Cassidy is 16, she sings on the Praise team and youth band. Christin is 12 and she is my right hand man. We have been at the church for 3 years. Just after joining I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had surgery but 2 years later I was diagnosed for a second time. After my second diagnosis I began treatments that threw me under the truck. I had six months of chemo and 48 treatments of radiation that was done twice a day. The burns were extensive and I had gotten to the point I had burns in my throat that cause it to swell shut. I would lay in bed and all I could say was "JESUS". I knew that He was Jehovah Rophe "THE LORD WHO HEALS" and that His name is the Word. His grace is always sufficent. So far all test show I am clear. PTL.!! My strength is returning and I can now put together a whole sentence. HA! No matter where you are or what you are going through, if you can't say anything, just say "JESUS"! He will be there! What else can I say except that it is soooooo good to be back!!!
I am very excited to have this site. It is just another door for us to use to get to know each other. We can check on each other and minister to one another in a personal and private way. I have used Myspace for awhile but I feel like this will connect us as a family. I hope that over time there will be more of the Living Way family joining us here. |
