Dear Theresa,
This is extremely critical!
After much prayer and discussion on how to support ourselves both domestically and in the Ministry, as most of my ministry is honorary. My wife Elizabeth and I were led to decide that Liz takes up a job. Over a period of time, I contacted some friends. Today she has been called for an interview for an administrative position. Please pray for Liz and the interview today at 2:00pm, Indian Standard time. She has to pick up and drop our daughter, Charis, before getting to the place of intervene. If the Lord opens this door it wick be such a huge blessing for the Ministry
Thank you for praying for the my Sunday morning sermon ‘Passing through Dark Valleys’ did I believe give several congregation members perspective how the believer is taught to express his satisfaction in the care of the great Pastor of the universe, the Redeemer and Preserver of men. As we focused a little closer, we saw where the path leads to? We saw how can see some places clearly, but other parts are totally obstructed by large and sometimes dangerous obstacles. We considered what Elisabeth Elliot writes, in Quest for Love p. 218."A lamb who found himself in the Valley of the Shadow of Death might conclude that he had been falsely led. It was needful for him to traverse that darkness in order to learn not to fear. The Shepherd is still with him."
Most of us today have a problem with entitlement. We're a self-absorbed generation. Even in the church. We expect God to make our lives go like we want. Sometimes we treat God like our bellboy: "Get me this. Do that. Fix this for me." God is patient with us. And he wants to bless us, no doubt, but the best blessing he could give us is Himself. If only we could see how good God is and trust him!
Please pray for Liz
