My name is Tammi and I'm 21 years old. Tampa, Fl has been my home since I was 9 but as of August 6th, 2008 I will be living in Atlanta, Ga. I am going to The Evangeline Booth College for Officer's Training! It's The Salvation Army seminary in Georgia. I know that I was made to serve as a minister with The Salvation Army. I love God with all my heart and I can't wait to serve Him as a Salvation Army Officer! My heart is in The Salvation Army and with the people that it helps! My mission is to encourage people and to bring people joy while I show them what the love and grace of God can do for them! I pray that God use me to bring people to Him! I'm not perfect. I lie, gossip, lust and curse. But I am trying to be the best woman of God that I can be. Some days are more challenging than others but living a Holy life is important to me. So I will continue to work and hopefully fail less and less everyday. | | Interests I have so many different interests. I enjoy cooking, singing, doing hair and reading. I like to eat, sleep, dance and play with children. I watch a lot of TV and listen to a lot of music. One of my favorite ways to pass time is driving to the top of the parking garage at Tampa International Airport and watch planes take off. | MoviesI am a picky movie watcher. I like comedies and dramas. I would rather not watch an action movie and I won't watch scary movies or almost anything Rated R. My favorite movies are in no particular order are Sense and Sensibility, Little Women, Mr. Holland's Opus, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and Forest Gump. | | Music Music may be one of the most important things of my life! Music can move you to do things you would never do without persuasion, good and bad. I have been listening to a lot of country recently: Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley, Big and Rich, Montgomery Gentry, Julianne Hough, and Sugarland. I really enjoy worship music. Stuff like Chris Tomlin and Jason Upton. I love 80's and 90's music. | BooksI really enjoy reading. However I go through phases where I read for hours and hours for like two weeks and then I won't read for like a month. Some of my favorite books are A Place to Call Home, Drowning Ruth, Tuck Everlasting, Once Upon a Marigold, the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series and the Fearless series. | | Television I watch a lot of TV! I love losing myself in the lives of other people or fictitious characters. My two favorite shows are Friends and Alias. In that order. I love any show that has me trying to figure something out. Shows like House, Cold Case, CSI, and Law and Order are some of my favorites. I love reality TV. I know it's sad. America's Next Top Model, What Not to Wear and almost anything on TLC. I watch Jon and Kate plus 8 like I have no choice. Kate Gosselin is my hero! If you've never seen it you should at least once! |
