| Hi!
John and I have been members of Valley Bible Fellowship Las Vegas for about 4 years. We were both raised Methodist and were attending a Methodist church. John was the worship leader at our church for about 10 years. I was on the worship team also, but my passion was doing the artwork for the church. We felt God calling us to move and we began searching for a new church. We didn't search long because when we left Valley after visiting the first time... we knew we had found our home!
John and I are both natives of Las Vegas... yes.... real natives! We were both raised in the same church, but didn't really know each other until we were grown (that's cuz he was WAY older than me). :) Our parents were long time friends and my mom even taught him Sunday School! I attended Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth, TX and eventually moved back home and married John. We have a great story of how we ended up together.... you'll have to ask us someday! We have 3 grown boys, John, Jr, Adam and Taylor, who have blessed us with 3 daughter in laws, Nikki, Roxy and Brittany. We also have an "adopted" daughter, Jessica. They have blessed us with 9 grandchildren and number 10 on the way! Our grandchildren are the lights of our lives. They range in age from 9 to 3 months. We are truly blessed!
I am a graphic artist and I design slot machines. Yes... somebody really does that! It is an awesome job and I love it! John is a real estate agent and loves working for himself. We teach Crown Financial at Valley, John is involved in the homeless ministry and I am training for video in the booth.
We love Valley and love our Lord, Jesus Christ! | MoviesWe LOVE good scary and thriller movies. There is nothing better than making some popcorn, getting some chocolate and snuggling up together to watch a scary movie! And of course, John is a Monty Python fan! | | Music | BooksI LOVE a good mystery/suspense novel. :) | | Television John and I don't get to watch much television.... thank you for TIVO! We love CSI, Criminal Minds, Prison Break, Heroes, Saving Grace, Cold Case and of course, our favorite is watching the DALLAS COWBOYS! Woo Hoo! |

Boring up here. My Dad is doing o.k. and I get a bit down watching him as he has trouble doing just the little things in life that we take for granit. We will be ther soon so I am paying attention.
