I'm married to Johnny Fox and between us we have 7 boys and 8 grandchildren. Our home consists of my mother(almost 97) and my youngest son(when he is not in college or working), our 2 dogs, April(a 15 yr old poodle) and Maggie(a 5 year old Yorkie), and a tank of fish. It a multigenerational household.
My son would be sooo proud of me......I'm blogging!! (Hey Sharon, my first too.)
Since I been reacquainted with Faith Baptist, I have experienced again the warm, friendly, loving spirit here. That's what everyone says that visits..........".everyone is so sweet and friendly and kind. You can tell God's spirit is in this place." I'm so glad to be part of a growing, spiritual fellowship that embraces God and wants to share Him with others. I'm so glad we have an active youth group and praise God everyday for the ones that work with our kids. They are the future of the church. It really excites me to see so many of the middle school and high school ages actively participating.
I love singing and especially love singing for my Lord. I enjoy working with the praise team and hope to sing a solo at church in the not to distant future. It was so much easier when Sharon and Karen were standing up there with me!! I love music of all kinds, from bluegrass to jazz and everything in between, even some opera(especially the Tenors).
I used to read a lot of books but nowdays I do audio books. They are great to listen to while I'm in the car going to and from work or on a trip, when I'm not listening to music. I've about exhausted our local library. I like mysteries, historical fiction and non-fiction and anything about Native Americans.
I think this format is just really neat. The church members can keep in contact with each other. Thanks for opening this up for us, Bro Billy!! |
