Jesus became my Lord and master 34 years ago when I was 31 years old. I told Jesus I would always be honest with Him, at least to the best of my ability. The journey has been long, sometimes hard and always the best choice. He has never failed my trust, ever.
In 1965 I got a degree in physics and I have worked in geophysics and software development. I have also taught in public high school for four years. I have two grown daughters. My oldest daughter had meningitis when she was in college and suffered significant brain damage. That was 17 years ago. Now I take care of her. With the exception of my youngest daughter, I am the only family member willing to help with her care.
God, in three persons, is someone I want to know more completely than I do now. I long to be free of generational strongholds and any thing in me that inhibits God within.
I love liberty and agree with the Declaration of Independence that liberty is a God-given inalienable right. We should treasure it, seek it and protect it. I love the USA and value the liberty we enjoy here with all my heart. I am saddened by many of the things I see happening in politics now. I see our beloved America in peril.
I like President George W. Bush and though he has made some mistakes, I believe he has been a good president. I have not liked the way people have denigrated him in the news. I wish we, as a nation, had given him more respect and support as our president. Especially when people exaggerated and misrepresented his motives and choices. I like that he prays and speaks out about his love of Jesus. I wish he would not seek or pressure Israel to give away any of their land or expect them to continue to make concessions to the Palestinians.
