I have been on a relatively uneventful journey to this place. I was raised Southern Baptist and have explored MCC and UCC before settling on UCC as home. I am committed to the two great commandments. I am still learning every day, and God is most definitely still speaking.
Movies
I like all versions of this movie.
Music
The older the better as I get older. Some coincidence, huh? Swing, big band, motown and 80s. Oh, and old country - Tammy Wynette, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn. Instrumentals are my favorites during a meal.
Books
Hellman is my favorite author. I have read all the Dan Brown books too. Patricia Cornwell's early stuff is pretty good, but some of her later writings are pretty formulaic. I am a sucker for a good romance, too. I always read the last chapter before deciding to read a book.
Television
Not much of a TV buff. I like "Little People, Big World" and the "L Word." I don't stay home to watch anything, except maybe Lady Vols basketball sometimes.

Welcome to MyChurch Patti. w00000000h0000000!!!!! How wonderful it is to see someone actually signed on. =0) I'm betting your journey is more interesting than you think. Someone must have been influential in it to give you the passion you seem to have to learn all you can about all religions. I asked Louanne the other day and would like your response too. How do you know so much about so many different religions? Did you learn on your own or have theology classes? I am just amazed at the few of you that not only know, "our religion" but others as well. Well, before I get accused of babbling again. I will just say...WELCOME!!!
P.S. I like the country western music too although I love the new stuff too like Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. Louanne, it WAS the lasagna!!! PHEW

Glad to see you join. Now all you need to do is make an outstanding profile and put a picture in here. As it stands now, you and Salt are twins (ball and bat picture). Really is good to get more people involved. Bob and I were about ready to give it up, because we can holler from one room to the other instead of chatting on line.
