Hello there. You have come across the page of someone very special. Me! God has blessed me beyond reason, and that is reason enough to be called special.
I'm tired of looking at my bland "About Me" description, so I thought I'd tackle this column in a new way. (Drum roll, please.) Tah dah! The following is a list of words that describe me:
Athletic. Dedicated. Quiet . . . some times. Outgoing--other times. Abstract thinker. Kinesthetic learner. Poem writer. Song writer. Short story writer. Piano player. Guitar player (just barely). Dancer. Prophetess. Passionate. Enthusiastic. Unique. Creative. INFJ (1% of population). A bit sarcastic. Strong family ties. Youngest of three. One brother. One sister. One niece. One nephew. One sister-in-law. Elementary education major. Middle school English endorsement. Few but very important friends.
Interests
I love to play sports, especially volleyball , but I also like to bike for long distances, watch and play football, and to rock climb indoors (only because I have never climbed outdoors yet). I also like to write poetry, write songs, read, play the piano, and make crafty things with paper.
In addition, I love to work in the country and spend time with my family and friends. I also love to sing (a lot!), to talk (more than a lot!), and to dance. Moreover, I love to build things out of wood and to assist in demolition projects (like tearing down old buildings). :D
Movies
I love chick flicks, some musicals, the classics, action movies, sports movies, and comedies.
Music
Probably the best way to describe my music is 1970's rock, musicals, jazz (Vocal jazz is AMAZING!), Christian worship, Christian rock, and little bit of folk and instrumental.
Books
Of course, I love the Bible, but I thought that was a given so I didn't post a picture of it.
Currently, I'm reading "Dearest Friend." It's the letters John Adams and his wife Abigail wrote to each other during the Revoluationy War. It's slow, but it's a classic! I'm also reading "How to Build a Wooden Deck" because I'm getting ready to finish the railing on our new deck. I'm also reading "Memory." I want to know how to get the most out of my education years, so I'm reading how I can best utilize my brain power through pneumonics, etc, for memorization purposes.
Television
I don't watch TV that often. I do like Hogan's Heroes, The Cosby Show, and The Andy Griffith Show, however, when I do occasionally watch.
Kris, I declare a stirring up of your heart to allow the thoughts to flow freely. A rising in your mind of how to write answers the right way, and favor from your professors to see and understand what your direction and intent is when you write your answers. I also pray that God will give you eyes to see and ears to hear when and how to pray for those around you, when He will take care of the "work" if the Holy Spirit is drawing you into an opportunity to minister to those around you. I also pray for peace, and sleep. I pray that your sleep will be a warfare sleep, that it will draw you deep into the heart of God and be a place of exceptional rest, where God can minister to your flesh and your spirit, wher He even guides your dreams into places of comfort and encouragement. I pray that even your meals will carry you farther and staisfy both your heart and your flesh (can we say chocolate chip cookies)! I know God will take the work you've done and let all things come together for a real testimony of His provision and grace, and of course a testimony of your dilligence to work hard to allow that provision and grace to flow! I am already praying for you this week, I will continue to do so, intil the very end !
check my first video. the kids in my media arts class made it. they make a lot of videos and put it on youtube. the others are just to be there. they are pretty cool.
Hey Kris, Good to hear from ya. All is well in our house. God has been speaking to us a lot and just like always showing how great he is. God Bless you
