About Me

I guess I'll start with the basics -- I'm 18, quite female, and I just graduated high school [1 semester early]. I'm a cashier at Walmart, and I have no idea what I want to do college and career wise. I've been raised in the church, and my immediate family is very involved [mom is the piano player, dad is an elder, etc]. I type the bulletins, and occasionally teach the little kids class. I guess you could say that I've been a "passive Christian" all my life... and I'm doing my best to become more of an "active Christian" now.

Movies

I'm not terribly picky when it comes to movies... in good company, just about anything can be enjoyed. I definitely lean more towards sci-fi action and comedy, though... I have yet to watch a "chick flick" that i really enjoyed.

Music

My taste in music is really diverse... Stuff like Aqualung and Patrick Wolf are really off the wall and different, whereas pretty much everybody has an All American Rejects song they like. I like pretty much any music that couldn't be considered "country" or "rap."

Books

I have an affinity for philosophy, looks into the nature of humanity, and .... star trek.

Television

Lately, I've been pretty stuck on Star Trek: Voyager, and Enterprise... but I'm a big fan of Dirty Jobs, Mythbusters... a bunch of the ER medical shows... It Takes a Thief and The Real Hustlers are good too. And my guilty pleasure... would definitely be "What Not to Wear." Ha.
