I have attended New Hope since I was four years old. I was saved when I was about eight years old. I can’t remember the date but I was in Angel Mercer’s Sunday school class and Bro Mike was our preacher. I guess that narrows it down. I love being apart of New Hope’s church family. I got married to my wonderful (most of the time) husband, Corey in ‘04. We live in Snell and have a beautiful daughter named Abigail. We call her Abby most of the time unless she’s in trouble. We tried out a couple of churches closer to home when we first got married, but New Hope just seemed to be where God wanted us. I have seen many changes in New Hope over the years and hope to be around to see many more great things happening.
I am currently employed with Hospice Care Group in Quitman. I've worked there for the last 3 years. I love my job. I started working for a hospice when I was in college as a part time job. Over the years it has become more of a passion than a "job." They say it takes special people to do this kind of work. I'm not sure that I'm one of "those" people. But I work with some very special people who do great work and are truly compassionate and caring. Maybe they'll rub off on me eventually.
