I was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. I was raised in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
I attended North Little Rock High (West Campus) and graduated in 1999. After high school, I attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
I first came to The Salvation Army in June 1993 because I was bored. I was 11 years old and I told my Mom that I was bored and I wanted to do something for the summer. She suggested I volunteer at The Salvation Army a couple blocks over. She took me up there and I met the newly commissioned Lieutenants (Gary and Beth Sturdivant). They put me to work and from there they invited me to youth activities and from there they invited me to church ……..And I’ve been with The Salvation Army ever since.
Following God’s calling, I entered the Evangeline Booth College, School for Officer Training in 2005. I was proudly commissioned as a "Herald of the Good News" on June 10, 2007.
I'm appointed to beautiful Roanoke, Virginia as the Assistant Corps Officer.
I’m the proud Aunt of two handsome boys Demarcus (4 years old), Justin (3 years old) and a beautiful niece Chasity (2 years old).
My life verse can be found in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
