| I'm 63, was born in Clearfield, PA (Steeler and Penn State fan), have two children and two grandchildren. I'm retired after serving as a secretary 30 years at SUNY Brockport. I prayed to receive the Lord as my Savior as a child, twice, at a Child Evangelism club in Grampian, PA. I use their materials and teach kids the same songs I learned from them.
In high school I was in the band as a majorette for 6 years. In junior high we paraded through town for the home games to the football field, then did a half-time show. In senior high we did this and all the away games. Before the end of the season those short, wool skirts got mighty cold. I think all the high stepping in those big white boots might have contributed to my bad knees. After football season, I played a horn in the band. I was better at the horn. I just purchased one through E-Bay. | MoviesSome of my favorite movies are West Side Story, My Fair Lady, Signs (most movies with Mel Gibson), Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Friendly Persuasion. | MusicMy favorite Christian vocalists and groups are Sandi Patti, Larnell Harris, The Gaither Vocal Band and Ernie Haas and Signature Sound. For several years we belonged to the Ricky Van Shelton fan club. He used to be top country vocalist and rededicated his life to the Lord. I listen to oldies on the radio when I'm in the car. When I was younger we listened to the radio and my Dad's phonograph. He played waltzes, Sousa marches (I was the only kid who knew the words to the fight songs the band played), polkas and various others. My Aunt Orpha taught us songs. I remember when she played the piano on holidays. She and Mom and other female family members would sing around the piano. | Books The Hiding Place, Legacy of a Pack Rat and Sitting by My Laughing Fire by Ruth Graham Bell, one of my favorite authors. Battling the Price of Darkness by Evelyn Christensen. Night Landings, a poetry from the Viet Nam war. Of course, Zondervan large print NIV Study Bible. Bixtrix Potter books. I collect these and Dr. Seuss books. | | Television Andy Griffith, Reba, Keeping Up Appearances. |

Hi Bernice !
Just a quick note to say I'm thinking about you and have felt compelled to keep you in prayer. I hope everything is going alright with you. I missed everyone last Sunday, I was so exhausted from a very busy week at work that I felt a little sick from it all. Rubie has been sick to, she's getting better though. Now Michael's getting it....yuck.
Just a quick God Bless and I'm outta here...........see you Sunday !
