Bob is orginally from St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada and after living in a number of places north of the border, moved to Baton Rouge, LA from Halifx, Nova Scotia in 1997 to take a faculty position at LSU. Holly grew up just outside of St. Louis, MO and moved around Missouri a bit before moving to Baton Rouge in 2001. Bob and Holly met at a conference for users of a statistical analysis software (this conference is not near as geeky as it sounds) in Indianapolis in April 2000. After a year of long-distance dating, Holly moved to Baton Rouge. They married in 2003, became parents to Carson in 2005 and are expecting a second child this summer. They moved to West MI in Dec. 2005. Bob is the director of GVSU's Professional Science Masters in BioStatistics (check out the program here: http://www.gvsu.edu/biostat/ ) Formerly a statistian at an emergency management consulting firm, Holly is now a mostly stay-at-home mom, working part time as the Nursery Coordinator at GUMC.
Interests
Both Bob and Holly are HUGE LSU fans. Bob is also a big Seattle Seahawks fan (for you Steeler fans: no he's not over the super bowl loss yet) and a Toronto Maple Leafs fan. Holly is a big St. Louis Blues fan and is sad that her beloved team has been so terrible ever since she moved to Red Wing country - the trash talk just isn't the same.
Myspace Comments @ DazzleJunction.com Hmmm... People are going to stop volunteering to be in charge of the nursery...how many now have gotten pregnant that were in charge...or is it something in our water?
