1 Corinthians 13

   ¹Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

   ²And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

   ³And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

   ⁴Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

   ⁵Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

   ⁶Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

   ⁷Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

   ⁸Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

   ⁹For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

   ¹⁰But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

   ¹¹When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

   ¹²For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

1 Samuel 2

   ¹And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.

   ²There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.

   ³Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.

   ⁴The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength.

   ⁵They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble.

   ⁶The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.

   ⁷The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.

   ⁸He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD's, and he hath set the world upon them.

   ⁹He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.

  Today I really feel the Lord keeping the feet of his saint, Laurie Anne. I am awaiting news of a job, you know how that is, standing on faith that the Lord God of Hosts will provide. This is the first time that I have EVER not been under the obligation of an employer in the ENTIRE 8 1/2 years that I have been a mother. It is liberating yet scary. Yet I trust my God to see me through. Thus, my heart is glad and rejoicing in the Lord today. Like Hannah, one of my favorite women in the bible, I will pray and pray and believe. TodayI know that  my God  will supply ALL my needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. Stand with me in prayer. Love You all Laurie Anne

   ¹⁵And straightway all the people, when they beheld him, were greatly amazed, and running to him saluted him.

   ¹⁶And he asked the scribes, What question ye with them?

   ¹⁷And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit;

   ¹⁸And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.

   ¹⁹He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me.

   ²⁰And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.

   ²¹And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child.

   ²²And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.

   ²³Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

   ²⁴And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

   ²⁵When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.

   ²⁶And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead.

   ²⁷But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose.

   ²⁸And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out?

   ²⁹And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting


Pastor Darrell Hines presented this passage of scripture on the TBN broadcast I saw concerning our children. I encourage EVERYONE to order, request that they re-broadcast that show. IT WAS AWESOME. But basically, the message was based on the above scripture, To paraphrase, Pastor Hines stated that:

Our children, this generation has been seized by this SAME foul spirit, making them unintelligible, we literally at times cannot understand WHAT they say

This foul spirit throws them, mentally and spiritually, to extremes. Thru spiritual fires and waters etc are children are being tossed....

The foaming at the mouth, or having no control over their words, our children speak things that even children growing up 10 years ago would never have spoken! Rap music has much influence in this arena.

The grillz the children are wearing cause them to gnash their teeth as this young boy did.  Some of our children are very angry and don't know why.

In essence, Jesus says to the faithless generation, the father's not the child's mind you, we HAVE TO TAKE BACK OWNERSHIP of our children!

Jesus is saying if you believe in the God of power, "Behold I give unto you power" we can overcome the spirit that has taken over our children.

Suffer the little children to come unto me. Look at Jesus. he takes the children into his arm - PROTECTION

Jesus laid His hand on the child - he COVERS them - we need to cover our children in prayer.

And then He BLESSED the child.

Our influence is so very important in the lives of our children.

The other word was

THIS WEEK WILL BE A LIFE CHANGING WEEK! Praise GOD
