Hi! We are Lon and Judy Miller. Married for 33 years...and still having fun. We've had the priveledge of having supportive people around us over the years.. often giving encouragement and financial support for our life on the edge.
In the book of our life, some interesting chapters are about getting married at 16, owning a restaurant at 21, having three great daughters who grew up and married great men, floowed by our extrodinary 7 grandchildren. Selling everything and moving to Argentina in 1985 provided a great learn-as-you-go missionary schooling and a love for the Latin culture and people in general. 20 years of Youth Ministry had it's ups and downs, mostly up. Lots of great travel time with teenagers...Risking it all to start a Youth Center outreach to "un-churched" kids---turned out to be a God thing. Lots of changed hearts...including ours.
Starting a funky store with consignment furniture and homme decor...silly, but fun....buying a 130 year old church building and making it into our home...incredible amount of work...and just plain crazy...but we love it!
Getting a couple college degrees in between somewhere and now working with geriatric population...are you kidding?
