`Hi My name is Mark De Baeke. I have been a member of New Life Baptist Church for approximately four years. I was brought up in the Catholic Church. I get so much more out of service at New Life. Our Pastor, (Pastor Art) is a great teacher!
I proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1983-1989. I saw allot of the world. I also saw allot of things that I wish I hadn't. In 1983, I was in Beirut Lebanon during the car bombing of the Embassy. I have also traveled to Yachon Korea, Iwakuni Japan, Anchorage Alaska, and probably thirty five of the fifty states. I was honorably discharged as a Sargent (E-5) in 1989.
I have been married once, and unfortunately divorced in 1989. That was a very hard time for me, and I really went astray. My self destruction carried on for many years. I
I have two children, Brittney Rose 22, and Brandon Raymond 16 years of age. My daughter is in medical school at Michigan State University. She was awarded a full scholarship when she graduated from Regina. My son attends Roseville High School and is very active in our church. He is thinking of becoming a chef, or possibly designing computer software. I am very proud of both of them! They are my life!!!
I have met some of the best friends I could ever amagine to meet at our church. I have become very close to the lord with their help.
