| Turn If we turn our focus to God, God is already at work to fill us with Joy.Something that not even satan can destroy.God never deceives, Much love He has if only we receive. He never fails to keep a promise, no not one,An Awesome example He gave His only Son.This is so not one of us would be lost.Jesus paid the ultimate cost..People often make a big mistake if they don’t understand that God is not like us, His words are pure.Turn and he’ll help you this I know for sure. Turn and entrust your future to God, But also make plans, God will give to those who will stand. The Lord examines our motives and determines our steps.God promises are always kept.Turn even when circumstances seem difficult at best.Remember life here on this earth is only a test. The real rewards are in heaven to remain forever by His side,God wants to restore your joy inside.Turn and in His word abide.Trust Jesus to be your guide. God has all the answers just turn and seek Him above all things.Much joy and happiness he wants to bring.Better than anything your mind can dream,God is the stream. | Legacy If I were to leave this earth today,What would people really have to say?Would they say that is one who gave,Or would silence stand at the grave.Would they say, “Now that he/she acted as a selfless one?”Or would they gossip and make fun. Would they say, “they fought the good fight.”Or would they say, that person stirred up strife.Would they pretend to genuinely care?Or would there be genuine grieving there. Would they say, “Jesus was that person’s true friend?”They served Him until the very end.What do you suppose your legacy would be?Did you change lives because you were set free? Lord, Let us leave your legacy behind.Let not one person remain blind.Will you leave behind the gifts Jesus shared,Or will you leave a wake of I just didn’t care. What will your choice be today?Let Jesus Answer that today. | My Hiding Place The Lord is my light and my salvation,He is my safety, my hiding place, I am His creation.He hears me when I call, He will not let me fall. When life is overwhelming in Him I can hide and take rest,If I call on Him, He will give me His very best. He will fight my battles for He is my savior, my stronghold and my strong tower,I will praise you Lord even in my darkest hour. Mighty armies surround me, my heart will not fear.I’m in my hiding place, I know you are near.I can escape from the storms and find protection there,Under your wings, free from the snares. You are my rock and my fortress, You will conceal me from all danger that comes my way.All you want is for me to talk to you today,You hear my every cry and see my every tear.It is you Lord who calms my every fear. | My Enemies Are Defeated As nations boast of their great armies and of their weapons,You Lord surround me with your protection.You hear my every prayer and I know I can count on you to always be there,And as the result, I will shout praise for you Lord everywhere. I know you will answer from the holy heaven especially when problems are so intense,It is always your presence I sense.True joy is an outgrowth of being in your presence and there I find peace that surpasses all understanding,It is in you Lord I will remain standing. You will capture all my enemies for you have allowed me to see,Not one plot against will ever succeed. As long as my eyes are off the circumstances and I’m trusting in thee.Chains will fall, I will remain Free. My enemies surround me like a heard ready to trample me,I am not afraid for you have given your angels charge over me.My enemies like lions attacking their prey they come with open mouths to rip me apart,They can have my flesh Lord but you have my mind spirit and heart. My enemies close in on me they have pierced my hands and feet.But you promised if I would stand my enemies you will defeat.I cried out to you in my pains,I will keep reaching out to you for much I have gained. Jesus you have been with me each every step,There is not one promise you have not kept.I pray for my enemies as they know not what they do,The rest I’ll keep turned over to you. You have felt this kind of isolation when you hung on the cross,The day you Lord paid the ultimate cost.Let me declare the wonders of your name to my brothers and sisters everywhere,Jesus there is nothing on this earth that compares.I will praise you among people and show you honor and reverence,Thank you so much Lord for hiding me in your presence.
