God has blessed me with a wonderful husband Alex, who has 5 children, 2 sons and 3 daughters and 7 beautiful grandchildren. Alex and I married in February of 2007. I have a son Brad and a daughter Alisha and 4 beautiful granddaughters. I was living in San Antonio, Tx then moved to south Louisiana, as Alex's job is here. I love it here. God has been so good to us.
God has also blessed me with a wonderful job at KNOU Radio Station. I work 6 hours a day M-F. It was an awesome experience as to how I acquired this job. I was not even looking for a job last year. I picked up the Sunday paper in April of 2007. Emailed my resume that evening. The phone rang the next morning and I was hired on the phone. My boss is in Missouri. He told me where the key to the station was and talked me through my job! Now tell me God did not have a hand in that! Thank you Lord.
Alex and I started out married life in a FEMA trailer, as we live right where Katrina hit. We, mostly I, started looking for property. We looked and looked to no avail, as everything down here is sky high. One day I was planning on looking again for the umptenth time. I remember locking up the office getting in the car and sat there, wondering which direction to go. I prayed "Lord, obviously I cannot do this on my own, I need Your help." I drove up Hwy 23, as I had done so many times. I had driven past this street as many times, but that day I turned right and drove up the street. The second place on the right had a for sale sign on it. WOW!!!!! Anyway we called, we bought it and a year later we are all set up on our Gift from God. Isn't God Awesome!!!!!
