About Me

Currently I'm pregnant with our first child. She is a girl and her name will be Amanda Joy. God gave me a vision of her years ago and told me her name. It's amazing to see Him fulfill His promise after so many years and so many difficulties. My husband and I have been married almost 3 years. He is a nuclear engineer and I'm a worship leader for our Contemporary Service. Our hobbies include bicycling, walking, music (he the piano, myself - singing) basically just being outdoors. I also like to cook and scrapbook. The name of our praise team is The Purple Daisies. You can listen to us at http://purpledaisies.org. I've been a Christian most of my life. God has done some radical things through the years. Not only has He saved me but He has literally been my best friend.

Movies

Not much of a movie watcher but I like comedies and chic flicks.

Music

I like it all. Some Christian favorites are Todd Agnew, Newsboys, Rebecca St. James, Seventh Day Slumber, Sandi Patti, etc. I also like Opera/Classical music since I've studied voice for years. Then there is a variety of styles like some Jazz, some pop, some rock.

Books

The Bible, Christian authors, poetry, nutrition and currently I'm getting a nice influx of pregnancy and baby magazines.

Television

Joyce Meyers, Apprentice, NCIS, reruns of Everybody Loves Raymond - not much of a TV watcher.
