Rachel and I just moved to New Orleans, Louisiana. We are just starting to settle into our new house in Abita Springs but that looks to be a long process. The dogs love the back yard. Their new favorite activity is to chase squirrels in the back yard when they are not chasing the cat in the house; Koda has already jumped the fence at least five or six times while chasing the squirrels. I am also getting settled in with my new unit. Rachel and I have a lot of interest and hobbies that keep us pretty busy. We love to take road trips to National Parks and other interesting places so if you are looking for somewhere cool to visit just ask and either of us will be able to point you to an interesting place. I do a lot of hiking, camping, shooting, hunting, fishing, horse riding, and landscape photography in my spare time. While we were living in California we spent our Saturdays volunteering at Palomar Christian Conference Center as horse wranglers. We also volunteered with the youth ministry at Lighthouse Christian Church in Oceanside for three years. Once we get down to New Orleans we will be looking for opportunities to serve God and use our gifts.
1:7 for God did not give us a spirit of timidity but a spirit of power and love and self-control.
12:10 A righteous man has regard for the life of his beast, but the mercy of the wicked is cruel.
