| I'm a mother to one daughter, Lauryn. A sister to one older brother, Chris, aunt and a friend to many. I'm a faithful woman of God, on a mission to mentor to young girls all over the kingdom of God. I'm loving, kind and attentive to the needs of today’s young people. I'm spiritually led by the Holy Spirit and is sensitive to the voice of God. Most of the time, you find me to be happy and full of life. I've experienced some hardships in my life. I've gotten through the worst of times with the help of the Lord and my family by my side. I've known love and lost love too. Through my writings I share my love, pain and sadness with you. I'm not perfect, I've made mistakes like everyone else, but I strive every day to better myself. I know the importance of having a relationship with God. I give him all credit for bringing me this far. About two years ago, I had to ask myself. What is my purpose here on this earth? I love working with children, but that’s not my gift. My ministry is to inform, encourage and uplift. Writing poetry started some eight years ago when my life began to change and unfold. After finding out I was pregnant at the age of 25, my world changed at the drop of a dime. As scared as I was I knew what I had to do. Prepare for my unborn child and believe that God would see me through. Throughout my pregnancy, I endured physical and personal difficulties, but nine months later, God blessed me with a healthy baby. Without any physical or financial assistance from my child’s father, I am a single mother raising a beautiful daughter. With much support from my family and closest friends, I was able to go on with my plans. I've worked hard to provide a good life for myself. Raising my child alone hasn’t been easy, but I've had plenty of help. With determination and God by my side, I finished two years of college one step at a time. I plan to go back to school and get my bachelor’s degree, continue working with children and God willing mentoring. | | Interests I enjoy reading when I have the time. Right now I'm reading The Power Of A Praying Parent by Stormie Omartian and Distractions From Destiny by Harry & Cheryl Salem.
I enjoy writing. My books are a collection of poems, some about my personal experiences and some written for others. I'm led to write by God, it definitely doesn't come naturally for me.
I enjoy spending quality time with friends. I've been blessed to have the same friends since elementary. We don't get to see each other as much, but when we do, it's a wonderful and beautiful thing.
I'm a simple woman. I don't ask nor want much. Give me some peace, love, joy, happiness, time spent with family & friends, a good nap....and I'm good to go!
I enjoy going to church and fellowshipping with others. Abundant Living Family Church in Rancho Cucamonga, California is my church home.
I'm on a mission to mentor to young girls about living Godly, focusing on education, resisting temptation and making the right decisions.
