One more day and we will finally be through with election ads. Seems like the campaigns get longer and less interesting every cycle. This is one of those "lesser of two evils" elections to me, as I'm not thrilled with either of the candidates for various and assorted reasons. I've even been debating voting for one of the minor party candidates as a protest to what the major parties are offering this time around. Oh, well, after tomorrow it will all be over except the posturing and inauguation and we can get back to a more "normal" life.
Hey, maybe I'll find time to post something more often than every couple of months.

Or should that be short day/long night. Deb and I got back in about 1:10 this morning and wouldn't you know, those internal clocks just went right ahead and kicked in at about 6:00 AM. Looks like a good day for a power nap.
We had a good weekend with our son and a good meeting with the folks in Hattiesburg. Blessings

Well, it's been a busy weekend. Got some more bad budget news, had family over (no those two don't necessarily go together). Went to Kennedy Space Center yesterday and watched the shuttle launch today. Deb figured I needed a break today, so she went with our company to universal, of course I ended up staying home with a sick dog, so although it hasn't been ver busy, it has been "interesting".
May those of you that do read this have a good day of worship tomorrow.
3:13 Brethren, I do not consider that I have made it my own; but one thing I do, forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, 3:14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Well, my better half said I should subscribe to MyChurch, so, I'll give it a try. I'm not really a very good blogger, I don't usually post frequently, but I'll see where this one goes. We had a good Mother's Day/Pentecost Sunday, almost a better attendance than Easter. Have a good day, week or whatever, until I post next.
