Let's see. I'm the wife of one amazing man for the last 17 years (Paul) and the Mom of 4 energetic, fabulous kids (Abigail, 11; Raheem, 11; Emily, 9; Akeem, 8). My family means the world to me and there's nothing better to me than hanging out with them!
Paul and I have been Salvation Army officers for the past 9 years. We are presently in Owensboro, KY. Every day is a new experience and wonderful journey. God is awesome and I am continually amazed at His mercy!
In my spare time I like to Scrapbook, read and try my hand at cooking fancier things than Hamburger Helper. I'm a wanna-be exercise enthusiast and really need to get my act together. Just curious as to how you inherited 3 more kids? I know about Emily and Abby and your two boys but where did 5, 6, 7 come from? :) Hope all the bathing went well, it's hard with 2 I can't imagine 7!

Good Morning! My mom's knee surgery went well. She is in the recovery room now. I'm thankful that the worst part is over, now she just needs to recover. What's up with Ike?, I haven't been paying much attention to it.

I'm glad you made it home safely. I had a great time, looking foward to going back next year. Among both of our incredibly busy schedules, let's make time for lunch or a park stroll, or something.
