| Music I love Annie Herring, Sheila Walsh, Bryan Duncan, Eden's Bridge, Sonja Isaac as well as old hymns.
The song "Tis so Sweet to Trust in Jesus" was written by Louisa Mae Stead after a year long depression from losing her newlywed husband in a drowning as he attempted to save a young boy who fell from a boat on lake where they were on a picnic. She doubted God after that and when she was wooed back to Him, she wrote the hymn. After losing a son, a husband and then another son, I fell away from God. I was also wooed back. When I was, I could truly identify with the words "Tis so sweet to Trust in Jesus, O' for grace to Trust Him More. |
