Most of my life was spent in Indiana where I raised my three children. I have a daughter, Holly, who is a rehabilitation therapist. She is married to, Corey, a firefighter/paramedic. They have two daughters, Emma and Coreyn. My son, Joshua, has been busy traveling around the world. He is currently living with his brother in Indiana and works as a technician installing and repairing generators. My youngest son, Kyle, is in his final year at Indiana University majoring in New Media and Computer Science. He works at a music store and plays guitar, ukulele, keyboards, drums...etc.
I moved to Texas to live near my sister and pursue a Masters in Computer Education from UNT. My goal was to equip adults with the technical skills necessary for returning to the modern workplace. Unfortunately, I became too ill to continue in the Masters program. After years of struggle it became necessary for me go on disability. I live with constant pain and illness. Even though life is a struggle, I know I can endure when I am walking close to God through His son Jesus Christ. That is where I find peace, that is where I find love, and that is where I find contentment.
I do miss my family and, of course, my beautiful granddaughters. I am thankful for all the new technologies that make it easy to keep in touch. I had already established my Texas residency while I was attending graduate school, so it was necessary to apply for disability here. It is difficult being so far away, but the weather is better for me in Texas and I have found an amazing church that feels like home. I am so grateful to be able to watch live during the services times, Sat 6:00 pm - Sun 9:00 & 11:00 am -Wed 7:00 pm. (CST), when I am too ill to attend. Since I am frequently homebound I am hoping to make new friends online. You can also find me on Facebook. Brenda Dawson
"Dear Friends, Let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us. He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins." I John 4:7-10

I ADMIT I'LL NEVER BE YOUR GREAT FRIEND. I'LL NEVER BE THE PERFECT FRIEND. I MAY NOT MAKE YOU SMILE AT TIMES BUT THERE'S ONE THING I ADMIT I COULD DO. BE NEXT TO YOU WHENEVER YOU WANT ME TO.

Bless you for commenting on my pictures. I also love my purple Butterfly. I really love all butterflies. The Lord always brings my way the big brown Monarches. My fav. It's always on a day I'm not particularly feeling good. Then I go outside and there comes one fluttering by as if to say smile. And I do and get all silly like a 3 year old. Cuz I know That beautiful butterfly was brought to me from my Father. Amen? Love you and have a victorious day!.

Hello, Praise the Lord!! I was able to go to church yesterday, and as I was sitting, I remembered you. It had been 3 weeks since I had been there. So as I worshiped, I worshiped for you, and prayed you would feel His presence. Had another healing take place while I was there and asked God to touch you to. Let me know how your doing. It's always good to hear from you. Love you, Sis Cece.
