lol im not engaged yet. although he did ask if my parents would be ok with him proposing before i turned 18. my family, and matt, spent the week in missouri with my sister. i think when he saw how bethany and josh lived, as a married couple, he wanted it more than anything.
honestly, im not scared to get engaged, or married. im a little scared that i wont keep the house clean, and im not a good cook... but mostly im just excited. im ready for a new part of my life to start. i know that he is the one for me, and that he will always keep me safe-i have no need to be afraid of the future as long as he is in it.
you can be sure that you will be a bridesmaid, and one of the first people i call to tell about my engagement.
pretty soon i'll have to come down to arizona (or you can come up here) so we can talk about wedding colors, flowers, and dresses.

Oh life here is going just as fast. I'm studying for SATs (which is a major headache). But I did finish my algebra 2 early. Now all thats left is Government, Latin and Anatomy. Pretty much I'm just doing Latin and Anatomy cause I can, I don't need them to graduate. I'll probably continue taking them after I graduate, incase I need extra credits or something to do in my free time.
Matt and I are still together, he's currenty going through an apprenticeship (which he hates) but it pays well. Enough for him to save up for his own place, and an engagement ring (for next year).
My family is doing well, and our church. We're in love with our puppies (has your mom showed you the pictures?), and they're consuming our lives.
Other than that I'm good. I think I'm going to major in English, and maybe minor in Journalism (if I have time). I plan on getting my license in a couple weeks, graduating, and then getting a job. Woohoo! I'm growing up.
Its scary.

my dad is down by the fires helping out with fixing all of the telephone poles and stuff like that.....i actually have not heard alot about the fires latley because i have been really busy but i do know that where my dad is the fires are controlled so yeah but he comes home on thanksgiving and then might be going back up.....so yeah ill see you soon hopefully you can still play....~marissa~ |
