What can I say. There's not a lot of depth, or layers to me. Pretty much, what you see is what you get. I was born in Denton, TX. and lived in the church parsonage, out behind the First Baptist Church of Sanger Texas. Since my father was in the Army, we moved just about every two years. We went from Sanger Texas to El Paso Texas, then on to Bartlesville OK. From there we moved to Ft. Dix, NJ., then to Rockville, Md. I have been in the Maryland area since 1970 but my heart is still in the West. I am finally married to the one who has had a hold of my heart for longer than I had ever known. Stacy is a terrific wife, mother and friend...although she would rather see me in a pair of Khaki pants and a button down Oxford shirt with a little alligator on the pocket. I used to dress that way for work, but I felt like a man in a woman's dress. ...Sure, I looked good, but it just wasn't me. I tell Stacy, I married a whole lot better than she did. I am a Network Field Engineer. I spend my days, and sometimes nights, fixing things.......and a lot of times it's things I didn't break! I like listening to Western books on CD while driving around all day. As a hobby, I like to draw and have several of my pictures around the house. When people see my drawings they tell me...."Maybe you should find another hobby!" I love dogs and have had many. One of the pictures I have posted, is of my dog "Sara", who passed away several years ago. She was one of the best dogs/companions my life has ever been graced with. It still hurts a bit to know she is gone. We currently have 2 dogs. Joey and Phoebe. Joey, was a rescue from the Humane Society. He's a Black lab/GreatDane/Schnauzer/Mastiff/Chihuahua/Pteradactyl/ mix who is very excited to see anyone who comes to our door. Phoebe, who is a Yellow lab is very friendly and well behaved. Joey is well behaved too.....in his own "special" way. I have a 24 year old daughter, from a previous marriage. She is a Vet Tech, at a Animal Hospital in Gaithersburg and a blessing in my life (although I wasn't thinking that way during her TEENAGE years!!). Stacy and I are currently raising our four other kids, Sam, Emma, Grace and Brett. We are very proud of each and every one of them and hope we can give them the tools they need to survive in this whacky world we live in today. Hollywood had wanted to make a movie of my life but the leading man, they had chosen, died, along with Larry and Moe. That's me. Not much, I know, but I'm actually a pretty simple guy. I've been described as a very Temperamental person......95% temper and 5% mental!! |
