Hey Tony!

It's been way too long since we've last talked. I hope you are doing well wherever you are and whatever you're doing (let's hope both are holy).

Anyway, yes, let's watch Batman together. I too am willing to watch it again. Lately, I've been watching the joker scenes on youtube way too many times, trying to reexperience Heath Ledger's acting, but I want to see the real thing again.

But Tony, I have one question...

"Why so serious?"

another question.
when Christians say to atheists that they have no reason to do humanitarian or philanthropic works because they, supposedly, have only one life and after that there's nothing, what is the justification that we use to do good works? sure, there's the fact that we will be rewarded by God for the good deeds we do here on earth, but isn't that a shallow and selfish reason?

hey i have another question
does God view insects and animals differently? what i mean is, does God have a different level of care for animals and insects like he does for humans and other creations? because it's against the Bible and God to hurt animals like i dont know...dogs and cats. we're told by the Bible itself to treat them with care. but what about bugs and insects? why don't they get the special care God has for us, or is it that it IS against the Bible to torture/kill insects and it's just that we have ignored this rule for convenience sakes? and if bugs do have this special love from God, how do we justify stepping on them everyday or spraying them with raid when they "invade" our kitchens?

hey tony.
if you can, please post bulletins answering these questions/concerns i have encountered through friends and thoughts. some were asked already today during bible study.

-is one born with conscience or is it developed by society?
-"i believe in the Jesus story, but i don't believe in God". how should i respond?
-"religion is the opium of the masses" - karl marx and "religion is the biggest hoax of all time"
-God is a sadistic, selfish being because he requires everyone to love him, or else they will burn in hell forever.
-we really don't have free will because if we choose not to love God, we will go to hell.

i might have more later. thanks.
oh and if some can be merged together into one bulletin, that's cool too.
