Prescribed by the Great Physician ***************************** The next time you feel like GOD can't use you, just remember... Noah was a drunk Abraham and Sarah were too old Isaac was a daydreamer Jacob was a liar Leah was ugly Joseph was abused Moses had a stuttering problem Gideon was afraid Samson had long hair and was a womanizer Rahab was a prostitute Jeremiah and Timothy were too young David had an affair and was a murderer Elijah was suicidal Isaiah preached naked Jonah ran from God Naomi was a widow Job went bankrupt Peter denied Christ The Disciples fell asleep while praying Martha worried about everything The Samaritan woman was divorced, more than twice Zaccheus was too small Paul was too religious Timothy had an ulcer…AND Lazarus was dead! And don't forget God Helped them all!
Now! No more excuses! God can use you to your full potential. Besides you aren't the message, You are just the messenger. And one more thing...Share this with a friend or two… In the Circle of God's love, God's waiting to use your full potential.
1. God wants spiritual fruit, not religious nuts.
2. Dear God, I have a problem, it's Me.
3. There is no key to happiness.. The door is always open.
4. Silence is often misinterpreted but never misquoted.
7. Do the math ... count your blessings.
8. Faith is the ability to not panic.
9. If you worry, you didn't pray. If you pray, don't worry.
10. As a child of God, prayer is kind of like calling home everyday.
11. Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.
12. The most important things in your house are the people.
13 When we get tangled up in our problems, be still. God wants us to be still so He can untangle the knot.
14. A grudge is a heavy thing to carry!!!!
15 He who dies with the most toys is still dead.
Have a great day! The SON is shining and He can certainly use YOU!

Another dead king,so what.We get to those parts in the books of Kings and Chronicles, where we kinda go zzzzzzzzzzz ,until things liven up.No biggie,we , can't prononuce their names any way. It's the same basic story. The godly kings followed God and a nation followed God. The wicked kings turned from God,and yes a nation also did exceedingly wicked things in Gods eyes.Lots of gore, blood, captivity and suffering. When I was reading through some of those chapters this week, I thought I was on auto pilot. Then bam something leapt out at me.There were a few kings like Azariah. This king did what was right in the sight of the Lord, except that the high places were not removed, the people still sacrificed and burned incence on the high places. That got the wheels in my mind turning. So many times we do what we think is right in Gods eyes.We go to church,we tithe,we are kind,we participate in diffrent ministries,we're basically nice enough people. You get the idea. The catch is that we don't remove our personal high places from our hearts. God should be smelling the sweet aroma of our prasie and our worship,of our trust and reliance in Him.What God often smells is a stench, like rotting flesh. It's the stench of our pride, self reliance, busyness.Go ahead fill in the blank. You have your own personal idols, we all do. I have been thinking what my high places are? What do I need to turn over to God?I want nothing to occupy a higher place in my heart than God.Certainly,I don't want to be like a white washed tomb, looking good on the outside, but being full of death on the inside. More than anything,I want to know what Gods purpose for my life is.Holding on to things I have placed higher than God will cloud that vision.Obeying God partially will not lead me to His divine purpose for my life. The Lord struck King Azariah with leprosy until his death. If I place other things above God,if I obey God partially,I am going to end up crippled in my walk with Christ.I will never live the victorious and joyful life Christ designed for me.I don't want to end up thrown aside like an old dead king living in solitude.I want to live the life my living King of Kings designed me for.

We wear busyness like a badge of honor. What are we honoring? Are we honoring ourselves by proving we can keep up the pace without falling off the wheel? In that place of "honor" we will omit the fact that we are frazzled, strung so tight we are ready to snap and usually at those we love the most. Certainly,we are not honoring our children. We falsely believe that they must do everything that they desire. They need to learn choices and that contrary to popular belief they cannot do it all.It is not healthy for them to continually keep impossible schedules with no down time and no real family time. Most importantly we are not honoring our God.How can we foster a relationship with our Creator when we never stop moving? How can we be still and know that God is God when we run from work,to ball games,to dance to flute lesson,to Mcdonalds drive thru, and then home,to do homework and laundry, and collapse in bed after midnight? The next morning we get up at 6 a.m. and do it all again. Still, God waits. The question is are you going to take time to honor God today? Will you take the time to hear Gods still, sweet voice? When you hear Gods voice will you be willing to obey Him?You may have to turn in your honored busyness badge, but God will replace your lone badge of busyness with the badges of peace and rest.

- I would like to buy $3.00 worth of God,please, not enough to explode my soul or disturb my sleep, just enough to equal a cup of warm milk or a snooze in the sunshine.I don't want enough of Him to make me love a black man or pick beets with a migrant.I want ectasy, not transformation;I want the warmth of the womb, not a new birth.I want a pound of the Eternal in a paper sack.I would like $3.00 worth of God,please.-Wilbur Rees
-We are as intimate with God as we choose to be.The only limitations of Gods presence in our lives are the limits we ourselves set-the excuses we set up to avoid being filled to the measure with God.-Cynthia Heald
We all do it,we give duty as an excuse for devotional deliquency.I'm busy with work,I have to spend time with my spouse,I have to spend time with my kids, chaufering them here and there,I have to take care of my parents,I have to clean the house,I' m busy with my ministries.I just don't have time to spend with God.Do any of these excuses sound familiar? Sin is seperation from God.Anything that keeps us from having a regular time with God is sin. There is nothing wrong with spending time with your spouse, but if it keeps you from spending time with God,it is sin. There is nothing wrong with being with your kids, chaufering them to and fro,but if it keeps you so busy that you don't have time for God,it is sin. There is nothing wrong with taking care of your parents, but if you don't take the time to steal away with God,it is sin.Your house may be so clean you can eat off of the floor, but if cleaning is keeping you from spending time with God it is a sin.You may be super involved in ministry, but if you don't spend time alone with God,it is sin. We say that we want to grow in Christ. How can we ever mature without a regular consistent time with God?If we don't take time to read Gods word, and we don't take time to talk with God,we can never be transformed into the person God called us to be.We must spend time talking with Him,reading His word, and applying what we have learned if we are ever going to grow into mature Christians, and impact others for Christ.A regular time with Christ is the only way we will ever have more than $3.00 worth of God.
