I was raised in the Catholic church. I attended youth group and Vacation Bible School at other churches, as well as FUMC, so I felt right at home when I joined FUMC as an adult many years ago. I am a member of STIGL and the Wimodausis Society. I enjoy serving at the Senior Luncheons and other events and being a greeter on Sundays. In the past, I ushered and helped in the nursery for several years,
Apparently, one of my gifts is teaching exercise classes. I've been doing it for many years and have a wonderful loyal following. This is something I fell into and certainly never anticipated that I'd still be doing, but then, why not? :-)
God has blessed me in abundance, especially with the love and support from FUMC. Thanks to Kay and Tim, Mike and Donna, Tim and Kelley, and all of those who've taught classes. I enjoy the learning and friendship in our small groups. I truly enjoyed the 40 Days of Community. Even cleaning the church kitchen! :-)
I am very close to my 2 granddaughters. The oldest is a junior at Clarion University and the other is a senior at Bradford High. They have 2 little sisters who are not my blood grandbabies, but they are my "heart" grandbabies. Lauren is in kindergarten and Laini goes to Head Start.
Do not ask the Lord to guide your footsteps, if you're not willing to move your feet. Faith makes it possible, not easy.
Be still and know that I am God. Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
Just for today: I will give thanks for all my blessings, I will not worry, I will not be angry, I will work hard and do my work honestly, and I will be kind to my neighbor and have reverence for every living thing. .
