Weeeeeellllllll,let's see, now. I am 42 and I act 22, but feel 62 sometimes. It's not the years or necessarily the mileage, it's the road I took to get here that has made it tough. I can't say I was all that bad, just the abuse of not taking care of myself the right way has been what has taken it's toll.
I have a wonderful wife, Terry, and two heathens, uh, I mean kids. Allen is 12 and Abby is 7. They are good kids and I wouldn't trade them for anything. Trust me, I've tried...... Really though, family is very important to me and I love them very much.
As you can guess, I have a warped sense of humor and I am NOT afraid to use it. I have a reputation for being the "joke guy" as I always have a few good ones. I am sure Terry has heard them all from the way she rolls her eyes when I tell one.
I have only been at Faith since 2000, but it has been wonderful. It is refreshing to be in a dynamic church with so much going on. I am really drawn to the men here as they have shown me that you can be Godly and still be "macho", if you will. I am taking Bro. Billy's challenge to the men of our church seriously. I want my family to grow in the Spirit and be Christ-like in their daily walk.
