| I am the Founding Pastor of Rock Spring which just turned two. I'm happily married and have two wonderful kids, two great son-in-laws and four energitic grandkids. I grew up just outside of Gaithersburg, MD but moved to the eastern panhandle of WV in 1984. I owned a successful construction company but fell in love with ministry and entered full time ministry in 1994. I served at a church that grew from 80-1200 which was a real shock since I grew up in a church that never had more than 60. Two years ago I left my home church to plant a new church and am very blessed to be serving with a fantastic group of leaders and a great church family. You'd have to come meet these guys to know what I'm talking about. | | Interests Church and vacations. The Outdoors. I like to whitewater raft and jetski. I was a builder for years and love to build just about anything. I enjoy running heavy equipment. I now love serving as a Pastor. I like interacting with unchurched people. I also like birds. I have an umbrella cockatoo named Cody, commonly called Pastor Cody by the kids at church. I am hoping to get a Hyacinth Macaw someday also that will be our church mascot. | | Movies Not many I don't like! Greetings to my co-laborer's and friends in Christ!
We are in a season when we need to PUSH on into our blessing and Breakthrough. When you are on the threshold of walking on your new level, it seems that is the time that you have to PUSH the hardest. I want to encourage all of you to see the end promises of God in your life and it will make all of the process that you go through worth it all. However you still have to PUSH on to the finish.
PUSH means to Pray Until Something Happens. Nothing happens without prayer. The more you pray the more you literally PUSH right into your promise from your Father God.
PRAY - Pray, Pry, Pulldown, Push on through, Persevere and don't give up until something
Happens with some evidence. Expect things to be transformed. Gideon and his army
Felt hungry, faint, and frustrated but the pursued anyway and breakthrough.
UNTIL-Don't give up or back down until means that you will stay with it until. Don't stop short
Of your faith venture. It is to easy to give up and it is to easy to be negative. Stir yourself
Up and keep on going UNTIL.
SOMETHING - Something is the evidence, Look for a sign of your breakthrough. It may not be
Exactly what you was looking for but receive it by faith. Be optimistic and not
Pessimistic, in other words be positive, speak positive and look for something good.
HAPPENS - This is the results. Once you have the results you are on your way with the promise
you will feel greater rejoicing and dreams beginning to be unleashed in you because
The happenings of God. Through out the bible it says and then it Happened. Faith
Happens, reward happens, joy happens, promises happens. On and on.
I just felt to encourage you in this season because it is a very special season and I can feel it in the spirit that we are on the edge of our happenings. However we need to push harder than ever for this time of delivery. I am not just speaking about crossing over for CI but for each one of you individually. Stir up your faith, don't be moved by the things that are around you they are all part of the process and not intended by God to be a hold up. As you PUSH you will see that the new season is upon you.
