About Me

the main thing about me right now is that my screen name says it all, clayton is happy. i couldnt say that just a few short years ago even though by the worlds standards i had it made. i was a supervisor at burlington industries in glasgow va making the most money i had ever made. i was being groomed if you will to become a department manager upon the retirement of the current one. all of that would soon change as i made what on the surface was a terrible mistake. however it is because of this mistake that my life would finally have to get in step with what God had in plan for my life. it was because of this mistake that i found myself out of work but headed for dabney lancaster community college where i would meet the best friend i could have ever asked for. that friend would turn out to be my beautiful future wife julia burch. she is the reason for my happiness. she is my biggest supporter and fan. she gently picks me up when i fall down and keeps me ever mindful that we are in God's plan and that he has something for us to do. another reason for my happiness is because we have finally found a church that not only meets our many needs but also has a place for us to work along beside other christians who are sold out to serving our great God and loving Father. i am also happy because our three chldren are part of a strong youth ministry and that is very important in the age that we live in. the final reason i am happy is because this fall i will begin working on my bachelors degree in human services through ODU at DSLCC. i truly believe that one day down the road God will give me a ministry working with children with substance abuse problems. here is our groovie family. Television

my all time favorite television shows are from the 70s and the 80s. most of the situation comedies from that era would qualify as my favorites. the detective shows from those years were cool too. hawaii five-O, barnaby jones, cannon, ellery queen, police story and police woman to name a few. i also loved to watch the old mid atlantic championship wrestling on saturday afternoons. i'm not a wwe fan at all and do not usually watch it. my other favorite television programming was the cartoons from the 70s shows like scooby doo, spped buggey, sealab 2020, inch high private eye again to name a few.
