"Only in this friendship are the doors of life opened wide. Only in this friendship is the great potential of human existence truly revealed. Only in this friendship do we experience beauty and liberation. And so, today, with great strength and great conviction, on the basis of long personal experience of life, I say to you, dear young people: Do not be afraid of Christ! He takes nothing away, and he gives you everything. When we give ourselves to him, we receive a hundredfold in return. Yes, open, open wide the doors to Christ – and you will find true life. Amen." -Pope Benedict XVI. Mass of Inauguration

Hi my dear friend,
“Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him” ( Col 3:12-17, NIV)
“The LORD bless you, and keep you;The LORD make His face shine on you, and be gracious to you;The LORD lift up His countenance on you, and give you peace.”

Being Italian ,..a catholic wedding is inevitable. As an entertainer I was expected to sing at the reception and say a few words. I first acknowledged that I am the only Italian on the planet who isnt catholic but also shared that deep down I am at heart for my love for so many who are.
It was a beautiful service and the second time I was in that specific parrish for a wedding.
I enjoyed myself greatly with family and friends. though I have to say at an italian wedding,...no italian wedding soup? Thats how it got its name . So I say again my friend. You catholics are all right.
