| My name is Ruth Phillips. I was born in Ft. Smith, Ark to Harold & Reba Nell Bergmann who are still living at the time of this writing. God announced me to the world on May 18, 1953. (for those who might be counting, that makes me 54yrs young!) God blessed my parents with two other children, a brother two years later & another brother two years after that. Their names are David & Robert. David is not married & lives in Ft. Smith, Ark. & Robert is married & lives in Atlanta, GA, married with three children. In 1971, I met this wonderful guy, who at the time we met, was going to school in Atlanta, GA, to learn the trade he is currently doing to make a living for us. His name is Tony. We met in February of 1971, & were married on Sept. 30, 1972. We lived in Atlanta for two years before moving to Tony's home town here in Milton, where he started his own business as a dental lab tech. in 1976. 1979 brought about the birth of our first child, a daughter, who we named Theresa. In 1983, Amanda was born, & then Ben came along in 1989. | | Interests Things I like to do in my spare time are gardening, working in the yard, cross stitch, crochet, riding bikes, fishing, playing tennis. I also enjoy playing the piano & organ. | | Movies My favorite old, old movie is The Sound of Music. More current movie I like to watch is Ever After. A few other movies I enjoy watching are Ghost, Entrapment, The Saint. | | Music I can't think of any group names in particular I enjoy listening to, but prefer Christian praise & worship songs & enjoy secular oldies music. | | Television My favorite show is Gray's Anatomy. Other than that, I usually watch movies on the movie channels. |
