Hi, Nancy. This is my last week that I can communicate with you here. Or maybe not. I'm going to try from the library. We'll see how that works. Always ready to try something new.
I looked for you Sunday for our meeting, but maybe we didn't really need one. We have council meeting Thursday night and I wrote up a report for it. Can you make copies of the request form you made up for the Hospitality Committee's supplying refreshments for other committees? It was such a great form. Did you talk to Fred Leonard about his party idea? That might fill in for something we had thought about doing. I think I am going to go ahead with the murder mystery party. But we have to have some help getting houses and making sure food is organized. I will have to tell you the nightmare we had the last time around. Thank God the man involved has left the Community.
I guess that's it. I'll see you Thursday night.

Hi, Nancy. We missed you Sunday. A nice little crowd, about 10 or 12 people. I don't think that was bad considering when we made the announcement. Have you talked to Gene Kramer yet about the film festival? I can call him if you like. You'll have to call me at home to answer because I'm getting ready to finish my week in moments now. Ah! Part-time is so satisfying. Talk to you later.

Hi, Nancy. I don't know if you got my message last night. Tomorrow I am going to drive down Valley Parkway in the Rocky River Reservation to check out the picnic spots. I think that park is probably closer to church. I will get back to you. Enjoy the rest of the week.

Hi, Nancy. I'm having a little trouble getting a shelter for our picnic. The Octagon will only accommodate 50 people. Do you think we would get more than that? The price is (I think) $110. I've looked at what the Metroparks have to offer and we ought to look at it together. Maybe we should think of something else to do in October. Maybe a spur-of-the-moment bring-your-own-lunch meet at a park to enjoy the fall scenery and fellowship. What do you think? Sorry I have been so ineffective.
