New Iberia - Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at Pellerin Funeral Home, in New Iberia for Renada Lynn Lancon, 27, who died Friday, April 4, 2008 in Houston.
A native of Lafayette, Renada was a member of The Family Church in Lafayette, where she was very active. She especially enjoyed working with the Children's Church and with her nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed listening to music.
Survivors include her mother, Nettie Baudoin of Krotz Springs, grandparents, Joseph "Bay" and Grace Hebert of Carencro; sister, Mandy Simon and husband Forrest of Duson; aunts and uncles, Tina Ables and husband Ron, Joni Viator and husband Marty, Angel Migues, who is also her godmother, Shannon and Laurie Migues, Troy Dubois, Mark Migues, and Rene Migues; nieces and nephews, Jamacia Henry her godchild, Justice Henry, Mahogany Henry, Alaha Lancon, Tia Simon, Tory Schaubert, Kaine Schaubert, Tahj Simon; sister-in-law, Angelle Schaubert; cousin/best friend, Summer Thibodeaux; numerous cousins, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Clyde Lancon; grandmother, Mary Lynn Migues; grandfather, Rene Lancon; uncles, Ronnie Migues, Ernest Migues, Willis Faul; cousins, Ronnie Bourque and Terra Walls.
A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, from 8:30 AM until 1:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
