Cornerstone-ites!
Wow, kinda cool. I've stayed away from MySpace, Facebook and do not have my own blog. So this might be my first foray into this genre.
Well, I hope to meet most of you soon - Cornerstone has gotten so big that I usually "don't" run into everyone I know each Sunday/weekend. My wife Hera and I started attending Cornerstone 13 years ago. Believe it or not, back then we had 1service; the balcony was gathering dust; we didn't even own our garage at the time; I didn't even know that the partition between the Connection Center and the sanctuary slid up; and maybe we had ~120 attending. Now we have over 10x that attending each weekend, and each service, I look out into the sanctuary and realize that I don't know 60% of the people!! I say this with awe and blessing that God has entrusted us with a unique calling and a unique set of gifts to minister to our amazing city. It's not easy... but we will try to be faithful to God's calling and our graceful outreach to a culture that is so hungry for spiritual truth.
Presently, I lead the men's ministry at Cornerstone and lead the effort to expand our facilities. As much as both projects have been challenging, they have given me many joys and purpose in my ministry for God.
My wife and kids are blessed to call Cornerstone "home," and we hope to fellowship with most of you soon.
Blessings...
