Hmm...okay I am a mommy to a spirited 3 year old boy named Gavin and wife to Sean. I work as a CNA at a long term care facility and I love it! It isn't glamorous and it isn't for everyone, it's super hard work but so very rewarding. When I'm not working I'm :::trying::: to learn how to cook and keeping Gavin busy with nature walks, crafts, and learning ABC's=)

Sean says that I have a "Save the World Complex" meaning that I tend to take any opportunity to hop up on a soapbox to shout about injustices that I see. I'm an advocate for peace and understanding. One of my son's bestfriend's is Autistic and it saddens me when we are out and people stare...there is such a lack of understanding that, at times I find it staggering. The same goes for the elderly. Just because a person can no longer recall their birthdays or yours does not make them any less valuable. They deserve compassion and care everyday.Their minds may not be what they once were but their hands are still ones that served their country and community and made our society what it is today. <<<-----------see what I mean about that soapbox thing???
