The first time that I entered the doors of New Psalmist Baptist Church was August 30, 1982 and my life was changed forever.  I met so many wonderful people on Cathedral and Franklin streets as well as on Old Frederick Road but most of all I met The King of Kings and The Lord of my life Jesus Christ.  I have been a part of so many different ministries some I have probably forgotten but all I want to do is serve God and His people.  There is a lot of work to do in The Kingdom and I have found out that you do not have to be the smartest to be a part of "the work" but you do have to have a willing spirit and willing to do the work with excellence.  Presently I am a member of The Becoming A Remarkable Woman Program and Wedding Ministry and I love those in whom I serve.  I am married to a wonderful man Joe McCray and together we have three children ages 32, 31 and 29; two grandsons and at 50 I have finally become an aunt and her name is Maddison Denise Heaggans.
