Hi my name is April. I am married and have 5 children 3 boys and 2 girls Austin 14, Makenzi 11, Madison 11, Connor 7, Riley 3. I've known all my life there was a god but only went to church here and there untill Nov 2004 when I started coming to Valley. In a nut shell heres my story like I said never went to church growing up dabbled in drugs for almost 10 years but felt something was misiing in my life. In 2002 moved in with my best friend/sister and I would have yard sales to make some extra cash and the funny thing was at all these yard sales there were always a few different people telling me about Valley Bible. Around this time I met my youngest daughter dad. Things happened and we moved out of my sisters and I had a longging to go to church but his work schedule didn't allow it, well things happened and he left me the tues before thanksgiving, and in the mean time I was going to mental health and my case manager you guessed it goes to Valley and gave me pastor Ron's testimony so the day after my ex left me around midnight i listened to the cd and fell to my knees praying and crying. That sunday i started going to Valley and loved it. I guess god had been putting people in my path for a while pointing me in the direction of Valley but I had the blinders on. It took something tragic to happen in my life to get me on the right track, but I am thankfull everyday for that.
When God takes away something good be prepared for something even Greater!!!!!!
